Hello all! I have finished the long awaited "Newsletter" for the New USS Norton Sound Association. As soon as I get flooring installed in my living and dining room I will get it out to everyone. In the interim, the first meeting will be held via confrerence call/email media to pick the location in/around Port Hueneme for the Reunion in 2011... my dad, jerry brewer, served aboard the norton sound while he was stationed in port hueneme. we lived on base there. he has since passed away. leukemia, 1974. i was doing some searching to find record of his life and happened upon here. if anyone knew him, please email me what you knew of him. he was my hero. i am now 48 and wish i still had him to lean on today. thank you.
